RGC - Kayole is located in a walled compound inside Kayole. It is a large church with over 1000 members meeting in several services each Sunday. They also have midday services each day during the week. Services currently take place in a temporary structure, but a permanent structure is currently under construction on the same premises. The church also hosts a primary school. The partnership agreement with RGC - Kayole was signed in April 2011 and recruitment was completed during April after over 120 contacts were made. Normal center operations began in May 2011.
Kayole is on the Northeast side of Nairobi between the airport and the city center. The slum holds many immigrants from other parts of the country that have come to Nairobi seeking work. It is a very densely populated area and has an extremely high rate of HIV.
Jeniffer is married and has one son and an adopted niece. She had been working as a community health worker on a voluntary basis in Kayole for some time before working with CFA.
James and his wife Monika have one son and one daughter. He was previously leading discipleship and evangelism ministries at RGC - Kayole. Before working full time with CFA.
